Are you seeing random "Deleted" squares in your friends list, or are the numbers actually dropping?
Somehow the Deleted spaces were necessary for the administrators to block some sort of spam. I'm not sure how it works or what they're getting rid of, but if that's the case, you haven't actually lost friends.
I left MySpace altogether. But if you haven't already got the message I was sending to you by leaving, then I don't see any point in starting to try to explain it to you now.
